We have located the cause - a faulty network card on one of our host machines. This was giving us a red herring that was leading us to believe there was a connectivity issue to our carrier. The device has been taken out of the setup and normal service has resumed. The network card will be replaced shortly without any further disruption expected. Apologies for the disruption this caused.

We are aware of a high number of calls falling this morning. We are investigating, and from what we can see it appears to be linked to our carrier. As soon as we know more we will share.
